Weekly London 2012 ticket draw

1. The promotion begins at 00.01 BST on 5 April 2012 and closes at 23.59 BST on 11 April 2012 (‘Promotional Period’ and ‘Closing Date’).
2. Entry is open to UK, CI, IOM and ROI residents aged 12 years and over, who are registered as Players on www.spotsvstripes.com. Directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Prizes:

From the combined Spots & Stripes entries: One VIP Olympic package for two people including:

1. 3 nights’ 5* accommodation in a twin/double room between 4th August and 7th August 2012.
2. 4 pairs of event tickets to the following events:
   1. Badminton at Wembley Arena on Sunday 5th August 2012 starting at 09:00 BST.
   2. Athletics at the Olympic Stadium, Olympic Park on Sunday 5th August starting 18:50 BST.
   3. Handball at the Handball Arena, Olympic Park on Monday 6th August starting at 09:30 BST.
   4. Gymnastics at the O2 Arena on 6th August starting at 14:00 BST.
   5. Coach travel to and from the events from the hotel
   6. Breakfast and either lunch or dinner depending on event schedule

Spots tickets: One pair of tickets to see the Paralympic Closing Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium, Olympic Park on 9^th September 2012 starting at 19:30 BST.

Stripes tickets: One pair of tickets to see the Paralympic Closing Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium, Olympic Park on 9^th September 2012 starting at 19:30 BST.

Any prize winner under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by someone 18 years or older when claiming their prize.  Any guests of a prize winner will need to be 12 years or older.

1. There is a maximum of one entry per Player into this Promotion.
2. Purchase is not necessary however internet access is required.

To enter:

1. Log on at www.spotsvstripes.com and gain at least one official Point via participation in any of the relevant games or activities. Points can be claimed through both real world (offline) and online game-play.
2. For online games, points won in a game featured on the Hub will be automatically recorded on both the Player’s homepage tally and on the Player’s team tally (whether Spots or Stripes).
3. For games played in the real world (‘Offline Games’ or a game at a ‘Spots v Stripes on Tour event’), you can register your point online by following instructions in the Guide to Claiming points.

Winner Selection:

1. All winners will be selected in a series of random draws, conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service, from all relevant valid entries received by the Closing Date. The draws will take place within 7 working days of the Closing Date and the winners will be notified by email (using the details submitted at time of entry) within 10 working days.

10. All reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners; however, if a winner is not contactable or a prize is not claimed with 14 days of notification, the winner will forfeit their prize and a further winner will be selected from all remaining valid entries. 

11. Physical prizes will be sent to the winners’ designated address within 28 days, however Olympic or Paralympic tickets may only be issued on the day of the event.

12. Only one set of Olympic or Paralympic tickets per registered player account can be won during the duration of the SpotsVStripes promotion.

13. Where there are multiple Olympic or Paralympic tickets as prizes, the allocation of tickets as between winners will be random at the time of the relevant draw and this allocation between winners is final.

14. Gold players may only win one Gold prize during the duration of the SpotsVStripes promotion.

16. By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.

17. In the event insufficient entries are received, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold unallocated prizes.

Olympic/Paralympic ticket information:

18. Olympic/Paralympic ticket prizes are subject to the provisions relating to the use of tickets under LOCOG’s terms and conditions relating to purchase of tickets as set out at the following link:  http://www.tickets.london2012.com/purchaseterms.html.

19.  Olympic/Paralympic ticket prizes do not include travel to London, meals (unless stated), travel insurance and any other costs of a personal nature (eg. spending money and room service etc.) which will be the sole responsibility of the winner and the guest.  Name changes once made, cannot be altered and prize winners and their guest must act within the framework of acceptable and proper behaviour during the course of the prize trip and comply with all rules and regulations laid down by those providing the elements of the prizes, including without limitation the ticket conditions.  The Promoter reserves the right to exclude prize winners and their guests from elements of the prize in instances of non-compliance with these terms.

20.  The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. Bronze prizes are only valid for the date and event stated and no changes are permitted under any circumstance. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. However, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

21.  If a Player's profile is terminated or removed from the Hub, then that Player's points will be deleted from both the Player's tally and that Player's team tally

22.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries.

23.  All valid entrants in this Promotion will automatically score a point for themselves and for their team.

24.  All valid entrants in this promotion will also gain a Virtual Participation Medal that can be accessed through the ‘my profile’ section on the hub.

25.  Winners shall, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prizes, for no further consideration, and they consent to the Promoter using their names and images in promotional material.

26.  The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

27.  No bulk, machine generated, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. Entries will only be allowed in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any attempted interference with the running of this promotion will result in a void entry.

28.  No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. No responsibility will be taken for telecommunication or website error.

29.  If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.

30.  If a winning entry or entrant is deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entry or entrant will be discarded and the prize will be allocated to a reserve entrant.

31.  The names and counties of residence of the winners will be available on this site by the last day of the month following the promotional period.

32.  By entering the promotion users agree to receive email communication about their progress in the promotion and important messages regarding how to improve their performance, deadlines and results.

33.  These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

34.  All matters relating to the Hub and use of it are, in relation to Users in the Republic of Ireland only, governed by Irish law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, and in relation to all other Users, governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
